06) Can I check domain name
availability?
You can check whether or not a domain name is available
by clicking here. Type in the
domain name you want and the InterNIC information will
be displayed if the domain name is
taken. You can only search for top level domains (.com,
.net, .org) from this webpage.

07) Does High Traffic handle
domain registration?
If you register for your own domain name and purchase
our hosting services, High Traffic will handle the domain
name registration with the InterNIC. You will be listed
as the Administrative
and Billing contact. High Traffic will be listed as
the Technical contact.

08) Can I transfer an existing
domain to High Traffic?
You can transfer an existing domain to High Traffic
at any time. High Traffic will even make
the transfer transparent. That is, if your domain is
currently being hosted with another hosting service
and you want to transfer the domain to our hosting services,
we will set it up so that
the domain transfers to our servers and no one will
be able to tell. Your website will never be inaccessible
while the domain is being transferred to our server.

09) How long does it take before
my domain name is active?
If you are registering a new domain, your domain could
be active anywhere from 24 hours to
5 business days - it all depends on the InterNIC and
not High Traffic. We will have your
account setup within 24 hours of your order.

10) What is the InterNIC fee
for domain registration?
The InterNIC, responsible for all top level domains,
charges RM 50 per domain name for the first
2 years and $35 per year thereafter. The InterNIC will
bill you via e-mail for your new domain
name, High Traffic does not play any roll in payment
of your domain name.

11) Can I have multiple domains
point to the same website?
Certainly, in fact, High Traffic uses this very feature
to optimize the exposure of its business
on the Internet.

12) How long does it take before
my domain name is active?
Once the InterNIC announces that your domain name has
been registered (or transferred,
if applicable), it takes about 24 to 72-hours before
it is active. All internet providers must
update their records (DNS tables) to reflect new site
locations. This is called propagation.

20) What contract and payment
terms are available?
We bill at monthly increments and require no minimum
contract. We accept MasterCard,
Visa, and JCB cards only. We do not accept any checks
for payment. However we do
accept bank wire transfers but you will be responsible
for the fee.

support to customers ?

23) How long does it take to
set up a new account ?
Orders submitted before 9:00p.m. which include payment
information (credit card orders) will
be processed the same day in just a few hours at most!
High Traffic guarantees your account
will be setup within 24 hours. Once your account is
set up an activation notice will be sent to
you via e-mail including a login, password, and FTP
hostname. You can begin uploading files
to your new web site immediately thereafter. Domain
account users will be given a temporary
URL (IP address) to access their site via the web prior
to the completion of either domain propagation or transfer.
